RUS OUTREACH PROGRAMS FIND EAGER PARTICIPANTS IN TWO LOCAL SCHOOLS

River Union Stage is once again active in bringing theater to both Frenchtown and Kingwood Schools.

In it’s fourth year at Frenchtown, RUS is working with grades second through eight on a variety of classroom and after school theatrical activities including, “Where the Wild Things Are” with the second and third grades, an evening of Shakespeare performed by the fourth and fifth grades, and the middle school musical, “The King and I.”

For the second year, RUS has brought theater’s energy into the classrooms of Kingwood students.  The program focuses on components of theater through theater games and the interpretation of literature for the stage.
